About Me

Hello, my name is Savannah Thomas (I go by Cross). I am an artist who specializes in character design, story boarding, graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics. I have been practicing digital art, and video and photo-editing since I was 10. I spend my free time constantly creating, whether that be commissions for clients, sewing projects, or my own personal projects. I always try to convey emotion throughout my work, and put a lot of love and passion into everything I create. I hope to inspire and show the world the stories and characters in my head, which motivate many aspects of my work. For a future job, I aspire to work with other talented artists and create alongside them.

Project Description

The Experiment is an animatic music video based off a personal story I have been developing. The story involves Arrow, an extinct creature called a thylacine, brought back to life by science. The music video covers the beginnings of their life up until they meet a creature that inspires them to find their true self.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

Keep backups of your files and projects. Always good to upload to box or Google drive.

What’s something that is always on your work desk?

A pen and some form of paper. I always need a pen to write something down real quick.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

The accepting and comfortable environment.

What’s your favorite memory of ATEC?

Walking around campus during the height of covid and enjoying the scenery. The campus has alot of cool locations I never saw till I took those walks.
