About Me

Hello my name is Loren Cisneros. I am a senior at The University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in ATEC (Design & Production) in order to purse my dreams in art. With a passion for drawing and writing, I aim to use my skills to become a Storyboard Artist after graduating in the class of 2022. Currently I have a comic in the works in order to showcase and test my writing and art skills. My comic is very important to me so I decided to base my Capstone around it.

Project Description

My Capstone is based around a comic I am developing. The idea for this project was to basically create a concept art book/style guide that can help me create the comic later on. I want to be able to refer back to my Capstone in order to progress with the series as well as update it whenever my style advances. This way I can use this project to show how my art and writing abilities have developed over time.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

Make as much art as you can in order to advance and practice your skills. It’s okay to take breaks, just never forget where you want your skills to be at.

What’s something that is always on your work desk?

Writing material. That way I can never forget ideas or appointments I have to keep.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

The friends I have made along the way.

What’s on your music playlist?

My music ranges a lot however, I think the main ones recently have been hard rock, indie, and lo-fi

What’s your favorite memory of ATEC?

Creating this Capstone and being part of so many clubs.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see myself freelancing and still trying so hard to advance my artistic skills.
