About Me

Hello! My name is Bryan Cedillo. I am an aspiring game designer, video game enthusiast, and I love to learn about history. I am originally from Laredo, Texas, and ever since I was young, I have been passionate about game development. I find that the technical and artistic processes of creating and bringing 3D spaces to life is crucial for immersive storytelling and player interaction. My specialties are level design and virtual environments, and I am very excited about breaking into the gaming industry! My hobbies include watching movies, frequenting bookstores for new history books to read, and socializing and playing games with friends online.

Project Description

Undertaking is a real-time outdoor Virtual Environment utilizing the
Unity Engine. The project aims to highlight my skills in modeling and
texturing to create a realistic WW2 environment set in a British
military entrenchment camp undergoing a military offensive in Egyptian, North Africa against German forces.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

The most important piece of advice I could give to future ATEC students would be to always plan your projects first before proceeding, especially in animation and games. Pre-Production can go a long way into the development of your works and achieve the highest quality while avoiding unnecessary stress!

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

I think what I will miss the most about UTD was having the honor and privilege to have learned from my ATEC professors and understanding the tools and trade of the gaming industry, as well as working along side my classmates who all shared the same passion for game development and were tremendously talented. I hope to continue to work with them in the near future!
