About Me

Hi, my name is Leslie and I’m a graphic designer who has a passion for animation and illustration. I love to explore and establish my work in both still and moving images with different art and design concepts. I’ve been on a creative journey to express myself, seeking opportunities to continuously grow, and gathering my own experiences to involve them in my artworks to interact with the world. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, and playing video games.

Project Description

The Box Turtle tells the story of a little turtle that was born without a shell, so his parents give him a cardboard box instead, which he loves dearly. One day, he is teased for being different, he begins to wonder whether there might be a better shell out there.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

Work your best to exceed requirements on class projects, therefore you would have something decent and impressive to put on your portfolio.

What’s something that is always on your work desk?

My iPad as I do all of my sketches, storyboards, designs, and illustrations with it.
