About Me

Hi!! My name is Keegan, and I’m a motion graphics artist with a passion for hockey! I’m originally from Colorado, but my family moved to Texas when I was six years old. In Texas, I grew up spending my time creating art and swimming in my free time. When I moved up to Dallas for school, I fell back in love with hockey, and I’ve been to every Colorado Avalanche game at American Airlines Center since! As a motion graphics designer, I love looking for places motion graphics can work alongside my other hobbies. Whenever I go see hockey games in person, I love to look around at the screens to find where motion graphics are used around the rink.

Project Description

A set of motion graphics designs to be played on the Jumbotron at Ball Arena before replays during Colorado Avalanche hockey games. These designs will represent the play and show on screen between the live feed of the game and the slow-motion replays.

What’s something that is always on your work desk?

I keep a lot of toys and collectibles on my desk, they’re good mood boosters when work gets tough.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

I’ll miss working and learning with my friends! Especially in Animation Lab, I met lots of cool people there who taught me lots of cool things.
