About The Team

Logan Latham: Howdy! My name is Logan. I have a dog named Biscuit and a cat named 7 (yes, like the number). I am a designer, and I have enjoyed making digital art such as, animation and graphic designs, as well as more traditional pieces like ink paintings. I enjoy playing video games, watching movies (I really enjoy “bad” B-movies), and almost everything from the 80’s. The 80’s and its aesthetics are a big inspiration for much of my work. The two main areas that comprise my work are sci-fi fantasy and comedic relief. I enjoy making pieces that can enable the viewer to relax or escape from the realities of life.

Aaron Kinnard: My name is Aaron Kinnard. I am a sound designer and video editor. I enjoy humor and animation in my work, which helped inspire the creation of Fowl Play. In my free time I like to ride motorcycles with my friends and family and play with my dog.

What’s something that is always on your work desk?

Logan: Some kind of toy (action figure, Lego, etc.)

What’s on your music playlist?

Logan: *Most 80s songs* (ex. Van Halen) or *most music from films I enjoy* (ex. Imperial March)

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

Aaron: Take classes that interest you early in your time at ATEC. I changed my focus from game design to sound design after taking audio production classes. Don’t wait till senior year to discover your passion.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

Aaron: The access to all the equipment and computers in the lab.
