About Me

Hello, I’m Michael Bryce. For basically as long as I can remember, I’ve always had an interest in drawing, animation, and video games. I spent my entire college experience learning the fundamentals of art, be it through self-teaching or classes. I hope to one day make it into a professional industry that allows me to draw the things I want to see for a living. While I didn’t get to do full animation like I initially wanted with this project, I’m happy I got to do an original story. This project represents the culmination of everything I learned at UTD, but hopefully I can move on to even bigger and better things in the near future!

Project Description

This animation depicts a fight scene between two original characters in a unique setting. It takes heavy inspiration from Japanese animation and visual aesthetics.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

I will miss being surrounded by new events and interesting, creative people, and the general feeling that there is always something new and exciting happening on campus.

What’s your favorite memory of ATEC?

Seeing speakers from Disney and getting to go to special events like Industry Giants as part of the Animation Guild.
