About Me

Hello! My name is Marlene and I am a Character Designer/ Storyboard Artist. I’m a first Gen Hispanic student that pursued the arts in hopes to get into the animation industry. I always enjoyed making new characters and creating stories for them, so this capstone was an excellent chance to experiment.

Project Description

I will create several character designs of creatures in a fictional Hell. These designs shall be able to show not only the society these creatures live in but also their appearance in relation to their sins and power levels.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

I’ll just miss looking forward on my Mondays to get some food from the food trucks. Lunchtime on campus was busy, but the best.

What’s your favorite memory of ATEC?

A memory that still is very notable to me is during my freshman year. It was a winter’s night and I’ve decided on a whim to attend a musical performance by fellow students as I’ve seen promoted on a flier. The night was cold but the lights were warm and the halls were quiet and peaceful. Hearing students perform what they’ve practiced for so long was inspiring and beautiful.
