About Me

Hey! My name is Julia. I am a CFX Artist and Rigger. I grew up in Houston surrounded by my large family and many pets. I love traveling and learning about the culture of the countries I’ve visited, such as China, Australia, Japan, and Germany. I have always enjoyed art ever since I was little, but I also have an affinity for math and science. At first, I thought I would go into a stem major, but I found out about the different parts of animation and knew it would be the perfect convergence of my love for both art and science. While in ATEC, I fell in love with rigging and character effects because they both used my technical and artistic side.

Project Description

Cosmic Curls is a groom of a curly space bun hair style created in Maya using xGen.

What’s something that is always on your work desk?

Goldfish. It has become my go to snack when working on projects.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully, I will be a lead CFX artist at an animation studio.
