Project Description

Cab call is an accessible design solution catered towards elderly and people with disabilities. Through user research, we developed a system that aims to break down physical and digital barriers through an intuitive interface. The system connects seniors of all abilities with trained drivers to transport them safely to their destination.

About the Team

Twinkle Shah: Ciao, I’m Twinkle Shah!
I am a UX designer with a background in design and marketing. I am eager to design holistic, omni-channel experiences, unconfined to the digital or physical space. I aim to create solution-oriented, forward-thinking, market-conscious, and clean design. I believe that good design has the power to change the world—I hope to participate in designing for a sustainable future. Apart from design, I love expressing myself through traditional and digital art, dance, writing, fashion, and more.

Miriam Khakwani: Hello, My name is Miriam Khakwani! I am a UX/UI Designer with a passion for creating accessible, human-centered design. I grew up in Portland Or and moved to Texas 4 years ago and it’s been an exciting time meeting new people and exploring new places. In my free time, I love going to coffee shops, reading books, and cuddling with three cats.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

I would tell students to join a club related to their pathway. It’s a great way to make friends and also invest in your career.
