About Me

Heyya! My name is Luis, I am an aspiring game developer from Frisco, Texas. I have been tinkering with various game engines and toolsets for almost 10 years now. I have a number of skills ranging from project management, writing, and programming and my biggest aspiration is to lead and self publish my own original game projects. A lot of my time is spent either talking and working with people online, playing games, spending time with my family, or pondering the metaphysical significance of memes (and of course sleeping, a lot). Hope you enjoy your stay!

Project Description

Aldebaran Express is an experimental, proof-of-concept first person interactive adventure game set in a gas station in outer space. The game is heavily narrative focused with a very distinct art style combining retro futurism, old American western frontier aesthetics, with a fine vintage 60s/70s anime cel shade look.

What’s on your music playlist?

Depends on the mood I’m wanting that time for creativity. For my Capstone I listened to a ton of classic rock, rockabilly, old 70s soft rock ballads, vintage moog synth music, compilations of old anime OVA soundtracks from the 80s and 90s, and of course a lot of Electric Light Orchestra, especially their 1981 album Time, which is my personal favorite.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

1v1’ing my inner demons, suplexing my lower self and discovering the lost city of Atlantis, that and making awesome video games loved by many, cherished by all, surrounded by good whole hearted people.
