About Me

Greetings. My name is Nicolas Nguyen. I am an artist that loves to play and make games, both digitally and analog. Because I love to game so much, I have been studying and making games for almost 10 years, even to this day. It is my goal to create a community where players and game developers may come together and and help shape the future of gaming through interaction with fans and sharing ideas. Outside gaming, I spend my time expanding my horizons, helping me understand and relate to other subjects and fields. I also spend my time watching anime and enjoy the wonders of the fantasy world the anime creates with their narratives.

Project Description

Battery Runner is an auto side-scroller game where the character will automatically runs in a certain direction and the player will need to dodge obstacles with a press of a spacebar. This game was inspired by Geometry dash and Gravity Guy.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

Think ahead, have a plan, schedule that plan, and manage your time. It is always good to be ahead, but never behind.

What’s your favorite memory of ATEC?

Working in a team and create something together, while improving ourselves in our respected fields.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Sitting in a chair and doing some digital arts while programming a game that will hopefully help create my small group known as Game Quest.
