About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Jessica. I am a video and film producer and digital a artist. I love using vibrant color and finding new ways to create enticing visuals. I hope to continue working with digital art and film production after I graduate. When I am not designing, I’m usually doing simple things like watching movies, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends. I am more of a homebody but I do like the occasional stroll outside.

Project Description

Pure Imagination is a fantasy drama short film that addresses the ingrained societal perceptions of good and evil. The enticing visuals of each character toys with what people associate with good and evil and reveals how it could lead to misconceptions of others.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

Explore different fields in ATEC and learn about the different jobs that others do in your field. Teamwork is so much easier if you are aware of the process and time it takes for others to do their part. For instance, if you are a director, know how long it takes to film and edit videos.

What’s something that is always on your work desk?

You should be asking what isn’t on my work desk…cause its a mess.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

I am going to miss the open labs and access to software most! It was so useful to go to the computer lab and access the resources to complete projects. Oh, and I guess the atmosphere on campus too.

What’s on your music playlist?

A weird mix of like 8 music genres.

What’s your favorite memory of ATEC?

My favorite memory of ATEC is how I got into ATEC in the first place, which wouldn’t be without meeting my friend group that I met my sophomore year as a Political Science major. Some of them were ATEC majors and I got a glimpse of a major that I am really interested in. We are all still friends till this day!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
