About Me

My name is Chelsea. I’m a writer and digital artist, a big fan of 90s nostalgia and early bedtimes, and I am completely attached to reality (I promise). My work, largely inspired by personal struggles with mental illness, seeks to explore how living in an aggressively capitalist society can negatively impact creative people. I hope that one day I can become an accomplished creator in the golden age of hustle culture so that I can pay my bills! (And be fulfilled and whatnot.) Some might say “not today, Satan” but I say “Yes: today, Satan! Quit holding out on me–let’s get this done!”

Project Description

Demon Dandy is an animated dark comedy series inspired by shows like ‘Gravity Falls’ and ‘BoJack Horseman.’ Its aim is to critique the competitive modern world and examine how capitalism affects creativity, mental health and one’s ability to connect with others.
